There are three bands called 'The Johnsons'. One is a UK based surf/punk/rock act who describe themselves as: "Dirty, dirty rock ‘n’ rollers from Basingstoke.
Always ready to make ya shake ya sleazy stuff and have ya dribbling, drooling and bleeding from every orifice."
The second one's a Skate/Punk Band from Champ City, Canada.
'Till today they released two LPs, including "Gypsies For Life" (2006) which was quickly winning over hearts of critics and fans everywhere'.
HDQ started out playing political Hardcore Punk in the latter half of the 80's, much similar to bands like Anti-System, Anihilated, Insurrection etc, and they released the Hung, Drawn & Quartered 12" in 1985 as well as featuring the song "Take Control" on the "Relying On Us" 7" compilation with bands like Oi Polloi and Stone The Crows.
Later they started playing a more arty\grunge kind of music, which is not so strange as 3 of the members were in Leatherface as well.
Bowling for Soup (acronym: BFS, or sometimes B4S) is an alternative, comedy band based in Denton, Texas (but originally from Wichita Falls, Texas) formed in 1994 from the ruins of an old metal band. Quoting Jaret Reddick, the lead singer, "we wanted to make happy music". They're known for their often humorous lyrics, upbeat guitar riffs, and Jaret's voice. They are best known for their singles "Girl All the Bad Guys Want" in 2002 on Drunk Enough to Dance which was nominated for a 2003 Grammy Award...
The Wolfmen is a Rock band from London, UK and was formed by Marco Pirroni and Chris Constantinou in 2005. Marco (guitars) enjoyed extraordinary success with Adam And The Ants and later worked with Sinéad O'Connor. Eddie and the Hot Rods were a pub rock band from London founded in 1975. They are often considered as one of the many punk rock bands that sprang from that city in the mid-Seventies, but in fact saw themselves as more influenced by groups like The Who and The Kinks, and other pub-rock acts such as Dr Feelgood or Graham Parker & the Rumour. Their brand of energetic r'n'b was over-trumped massively by the punk explosion, and they withered away.
