Think About You

Think About You are an art-rock band from Naarm/Melbourne, Australia, blending garage punk, Celtic folk and indie rock with violin, trumpet, interwoven vocals and energetic guitar arrangements. The band emerged in 2021 after music promoter Mary Mihelakos discovered their iPhone-recorded demo Isaac on Bandcamp and booked their first live performance. Their 2024 lineup consisted of Vindi Ferguson (vocals, violin), D’arcy Noonan (vocals, guitar), Jasper Van Daatselaar (vocals, bass, trumpet) and Declan Blackburn (drums). Their name was inspired by I Won’t Have To Think About You, a compilation of Australian jangle pop. The band have cited Arthur Russell, Duster, The Go-Betweens and Two Steps on the Water as influences. Following their debut album Taxi Kids (2022), they released Don’t Die On Me (2024), further developing their distinctive combination of folk instrumentation, melodic songwriting and raw Australian garage rock. .
