Baggy Trousers - The Sound of Madness | A Rolling Stone, Christchurch | Sat 20 Feb 27
About
Baggy Trousers—The Sound of Madness brings six shows to Wellington, Auckland, Mount Maunganui, Napier, Nelson and Christchurch. We’re taking the celebrations beyond the cities on Madness’s own itinerary, bringing the music to intimate live music venues where you can experience it live, up close and personal.
London-born Baggy Trousers bring the songs and nutty spirit of early-80s Madness to life with an authentic, high-energy live show. Come and re-live One Step Beyond, Our House, House of Fun, My Girl, The Prince, It Must Be Love, Baggy Trousers and many more, alongside well-loved album tracks—all played live, by Madness fans, for Madness fans.
Great minds think alike. We’d been planning our New Zealand return since January when Madness announced their own tour just two days before we were due to announce ours. With our February dates and flights already booked, we’re coming back across the ditch to see our Kiwi friends and help you get "Match Fit for Madness".
Whether you’re counting down to Madness in March or simply fancy a night of the music you grew up with, join a crowd who know the words and love these songs as much as you do. Our New Zealand audiences have always made us feel so welcome, and we can’t wait to do it all again.
Round up your mates, dust off your dancing boots then come along and leave hot, sweaty and happy.
Who’s joining us?
This is Baggy Trousers, a celebration of Madness - not a ticket to Madness shows in Auckland or Christchurch.
