GENERATION WOMEN - Eat, Pray, Gay: Stories of love, pride and living out loud

Venue

HOWLER, MELBOURNE

7-11 Dawson Street, BRUNSWICK , VIC

About

The theme is: Eat, Pray, Gay: Stories of love, pride and living out loud

🌈 Eat, Pray, Gay: Celebrating the freedom to be ourselves

Pride isn’t just a parade, it’s lived every day. This night brings together six women across six decades, sharing stories of love, identity, family and the courage it takes to live out loud. Expect laughter, goosebumps and the kind of truth-telling that leaves you braver in your own skin. When we celebrate LGBTQIA+ stories, we all get a little freer.

If you’ve ever wrestled with belonging or longed to be seen exactly as you are, this show will speak straight to your heart. You’ll leave reminded that pride is for all of us, because love and courage ripple wider than we know.

Generation Women is an award-winning cross-generational storytelling night founded in New York in 2017, Sydney in 2018, and Melbourne in 2020. Each month, six women of note read an original piece on a theme. Of those women, one is in her 20s, her 30s, her 40s, her 50s, her 60s, and her 70s+.

This event is proudly presented by Generation Women Australia, founded by Donna Logue. Generation Women was created by Georgia Clark.
